Ideally suited for isolated rescue areas, the Medevac stretcher is currently used as onboard equipment on all Navy ships and on US search and rescue helicopters, as well as on US and Italian Coast Guard cutters and on Italian Navy submarines. The elongated design allows for easy transport through the hatches and entrances of navy ships.
The Medevac 402 stretcher is designed to withstand the conditions encountered in remote operations, such as water rescue, submarine and/or onboard ship, in the mountains, and in other confined areas that require a versatile, narrow, and low-profile stretcher.
The integrated float is designed for self-righting and to float with the patient's head slightly elevated.
Includes a case with backpack harness for easier transport and two carrying harnesses to allow personnel to keep their hands free while carrying the tubular structure with a frame and shaft in stainless steel or lightweight titanium. With a quick action, the two sliding joints ensure that the two halves of the stretcher are locked in place in seconds.
The Medevac stretcher can be lifted both vertically and horizontally.
