D-LOK LIFTING HOOK FOR HELICOPTERS
#414

LSC has updated the design of the world's most successful hook by extending the latch guards to fully enclose the operating buttons and adding a radius to the gate face. The new design makes dynamic rollout and unintentional activation of the gate locks impossible. The extended closing buttons and raised guards improve user control of the gate during one-handed operation. The lifting hook features a large ring volume for multiple equipment rings and will accept rings up to 3/4 inch in diameter. The integrated utility eyelet allows for the attachment of tags/guideline. *** Authorized for U.S. Army H-60 aircraft in AWR-980 R21
D-LOK LIFTING HOOK FOR HELICOPTERS
#414 -G

The #414-G design makes dynamic roll-out and unintentional activation of the gate locks impossible. The extended close buttons and raised guards improve user control of the gate during one-handed operation. The lifting hook features a large ring volume for multiple equipment rings and accepts rings up to 3/4 inch in diameter. The integrated utility eyelet allows for the attachment of tags/guide lines. The swivel allows attachment to the emergency quick-join kit.
LIFTING HOOK FOR MIL-LOK HELICOPTERS
#412
The Mil-LOK hook can be used in automatic locking mode or with the safety lock deactivated. The unlocking and safety lock can be easily operated with one hand, either gloved or bare. With the hook in hand, rotate the safety lock upwards using your thumb and push back the unlock with your index finger. Release, and the spring-loaded unlock and safety lock will automatically return to the closed and fixed position, preventing accidental release of the load or the ring slipping out. In situations where it may be preferable to operate with an open unlock (some combat operations or when lowering equipment to inexperienced personnel), the lock can be deactivated by means of a simple push-activated latch on the back of the hook to temporarily keep the safety in the open position. The spring-loaded unlock will close normally, but is no longer held by the safety lock. To return to automatic locking mode, simply press the latch release and the safety will return to the closed and locked position. The robust design of the Mil-LOK and its stainless steel construction pivots all movements around the axes, making maintenance simpler and minimal. Far superior to alternative hooks that use a tight-tolerance sliding lock and a ball lock mechanism prone to failure due to sand grains, jamming, or accidental deactivation of the safety. Furthermore, hooks with a ball lock do not have the automatic locking capability of D-LOK or Mil-LOK lifting hooks, as they rely solely on the operator's ability to put the latch in the closed position each time. Another safety aspect of the Mil-LOK design is its unique resistance to unrolling/ring escape when the latch is deactivated. O-rings or equivalent V-rings with an internal diameter of 1 ½” or less will not come out with the unlock closed thanks to its specific shape. The Mil-LOK gives the user the ability to operate in automatic locking mode for safety during regular use or to deactivate it if required in particular conditions, while providing significantly better safety and reliability compared to hooks with sliding locks.
