The TRITON II QLR is the new helicopter-hoistable rescue harness from LSC approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).

The TRITON II QLR System has received approval according to TSO-C167 for Human External Cargo (HEC) operations; the 490-VOT vest, which integrates with the TRITON QLR, is also approved with TSO-C13G.

The TRITON II QLR System consists of three components:

Harness
Quad-LOK Release Tether (approved together by TSO-C167)
Buoyancy vest (approved by TSO-C13G)

The TRITON II QLR system is available only in MOLLE with the possibility to install various tool pouches.

(Inspection and maintenance activities can only be carried out by personnel holding specific qualifications obtained after attending a training course)
