The Osprey is specifically designed for crew or tactical personnel engaged in flight operations. The rear attachment allows flight operators to secure themselves safely while inside the aircraft cabin and/or during Search and Rescue operations.
The flexible and comprehensive modular design allows flight personnel to configure the Osprey as a lightweight and durable set, such as a simple pilot vest or crew vest with fixed pockets for minimal equipment (#745-M) or as a tactical set with integrated extraction harness (#745-MH) or as a safety device with the addition of a 70 lbs flotation collar (#740-MBT).

In this latest complete version, the Osprey has been approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) under TSO-C13G. MOLLE panels are available for customized pocket configuration.
