OVERLAND SURVIVOR TRITON

The TRITON Survivor is the new lifting device developed by LSC, derived from the TRITON harness and specially adapted for the recovery and transport of survivors during rescue operations. Based on the same TSO certified harness used by operators, it now guarantees the same level of protection for rescued individuals.

The structure features a high-visibility red back cover, which highlights the inside and outside of the harness and allows it to be quickly worn like a jacket. On the back, there are handles certified up to 2,300 kg, designed to securely fasten the survivor and facilitate transfer from the hoist to the cabin. Retroreflective materials and high-visibility inserts further enhance safety in critical conditions.

The TRITON Survivor allows survivors to travel in an upright position, reducing the impact of rotor downwash and increasing comfort during recovery.

The device offers two lifting points, from the waist or chest, making it suitable for both survivor recovery and personnel transport to the incident site, depending on the operators' level of training.

Fields of use
- Military and civil helicopter rescue: recovery of conscious people from rugged or maritime areas.
- Civil protection: rapid evacuations in emergency scenarios (landslides, floods, earthquakes).
- CBRN operations: extrication of victims from contaminated areas with reduced risk for rescuers.
- Maritime/offshore environment: recovery from ships, platforms, or open sea.
