Training in shallow water (SWET) represents an effective method for developing the confidence and competence of flight crews during helicopter emergency situations. This training is mandatory for pilots and crews and tests their ability to handle critical scenarios, such as loss of assisted breathing, exiting from blocked points, and malfunctioning seat belts.
The new aluminum SWET Trainer, produced by LSC, is modular and can be disassembled to fit into containers or bags that can also be carried on board aircraft. Full assembly takes only a few minutes. In addition, the seat belt systems can be easily replaced and door panels are available on request (#910-D).
The training activity with the Swet Chair can also be carried out in a pool with a collapsible ET TANK structure
