SIRIUS LED FLASHLIGHTS
Using the latest LED and solid-state electronics, the manufacturer has developed a series of strobe lights for both commercial and military/SAR applications whose performance exceeds US Coast Guard and SOLAS requirements. All the lights, compact and water-resistant, flash a white signal 60 times per minute for more than 18 hours, using two standard AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included). The commercial PFD (personal flotation device) lights are USCG approved and offer manual or water-activated functionality, while the specific military and SAR models provide more advanced signaling features, including Infrared Beams and multi-color LEDs. The LED and solid-state models offer greater brightness, durability, and lifespan compared to incandescent bulbs or gas-filled xenon tubes. Designed for the marine environment, the low-profile housing is made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant plastic with clear lenses that withstand heavy impacts. The Sirius strobe lights, smaller, lighter, and brighter than the Firefly®, are the first choice for a PFD or a strobe signal light.
